We can’t believe how much we have grown in such a short time. We have over 200 students coming through the doors for music lessons every week. This includes people of all ages and from all over the Colorado Springs area. It is amazing to see parents and children, brothers and sisters and friends coming together over music and right in our studio. We want to give a massive thanks to all of our clients who have helped make our humble local business a success.
Since moving from downtown to central Colorado Springs in 2016, we have experienced a massive amount of growth. We now offer more lessons, including voice, piano lessons, recording, audio engineering, bass and drums lessons. Our online lesson library is expanding as well. Our jam classes have been a huge success and we are building community around music. The students are getting together outside of our classes and making music. This is what a music community looks like.
We recently hired a new teacher and realized that with his schedule filling up we need more room. Because of that we have a need for more teachers. So, we will be hiring two more new teachers by the end of April. Our jam classes are now so popular we need more space for them as well. Obviously, these are the kind of problems we want to have.
We thought long and hard about what would be the best solution. And this is a great part of town. We looked in Rockrimmon, off of Powers, in Briargate, off of Academy Blvd, but nothing seemed as good as the space we were in. Then we got some great news. The office space next us is opening up next week and we are going to be expanding right there. So now Silversound Guitar will be in suites 206 and 207 and will be connected.
We will be starting construction over there this week and hopefully will be ready to as early as next week. Stay tuned because we will be having and open house at the beginning of May. Invite your friends and come check out the space.
