Drew Martin graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with BA in Music – Creative Performance and Technology. At UCCS, Drew studied with Colin McAllister and Janet Feder. He also performed in masterclasses with classical guitarists such as Masakazu Ito, Roberto Limon and Pablo Gomez.
He has been a member of the Honors Jazz and Chamber Ensembles, Electro-Acoustic Ensemble and Creative Music Ensemble. Drew has appeared in local music events such as the Peak Frequency Arts Festival and the Colorado Springs Free Improv Collective. Drew regularly plays guitar at local corporate events and weddings, as well as local venues like The Mezzanine.
His influences cover a wide range of styles including electronic music, rock, contemporary classical music, jazz. All of these styles give him a diverse tool set for teaching guitar lessons.
Drew enjoys teaching all styles of music. In his lessons Drew uses the latest professional performance technology, including Ableton Live and Max/MSP.
