At Silversound Guitar, even though guitar is in our name, we think about more than just guitar lessons. As a local business in Colorado Springs run by owners that grew up here, we have a sense of the community and an understanding of how music can help build that community. Our teachers are from all over the Colorado Springs area, Rockrimmon, Briargate, Village Seven, Fountain, Manitou Springs, even the Garden Ranch area located right by the studio. This is why we chose a central location for our studio. We want to be the place where music brings people together from all over Colorado Springs.

Our music lessons are designed to help each student reach their musical goals. Each person is unique and what they want to accomplish with music is going to be different. Our teachers have years of experience and university training to help you out. For some people they are finally doing that first lesson; you are never too old to start. Others are just kids who think guitar is cool and just want to check it out. Some have been playing for years and are looking for a boost we can do all that and put you on the right path. Recording, Mixing, audio engineering and DAW Lessons
But it’s not just guitar lessons. Today making music has never been easier. From your home you can build a recording studio with a computer and a simple audio interface and you are away. This is why we offer recording, mixing, audio engineering and DAW lessons as well. These tools put the power in your hands to write the songs you want to write.
Composition, Songwriting, Theory and Film Scoring Lessons
We also help with songwriting. All of our teachers are university educated and have a background in composition and theory that can help you put the puzzle pieces together when writing your own music, whether that is film scoring, writing acoustic songs, instrumentals or complex band arrangements.

Jam Classes/Group Lessons
Music should be about bringing people together and that is what our jam classes do. Set up a bit like a group lesson, it is made up of students of similar age and ability to meet other players and learn how to play together. This includes everything from learning songs together to jamming to songwriting in a group. Our Students work to perform their songs and jams at the end of each semester. Jam Classes are another one of the unique things about Silversound Guitar
Summer Music Camps
Like our jam classes, our Summer Music Camps feature students of similar age and ability in a setting where they can all work on music together. These are week long intensives that help the students to further hone their skills. With private lessons during the week and sessions every day these will accelerate your learning and playing abilities in a short time.
